Sadu House is a styled Kuwaiti house that was built in 1979 to care for the interests of the Bedouins and their ethnic handicrafts, Sadu weaving. The original house originally existed as a mud building but was destroyed in 1936 . In 1938, the house was sold to Shereen Bahbhani who had renewed it. It owned by the Kuwait government during 1960s as a part of its work in protecting Kuwait's traditional and cultural buildings.
It is located right next to the National Museum of Kuwait on the Gulf Road. Like many other old houses in Kuwait, Sadu house consists of 4 champers: men reception courtyard, visitors courtyard, kitchen courtyard, and women courtyard.
Bait Al Sadu aims to teach those interested in the beauty of the Kuwaiti culture and hope to continue to safeguard it in the future.
